SEARCY, Ark. — What will it take for the post-pandemic church to thrive?

An expert panel explored COVID-19’s impact on Churches of Christ — and overall Christian faith in America — during two “Christian Chronicle Live!” panel discussions today.

I moderated the discussions, which were part of Harding University’s 98th annual Bible Lectureship.

Panelists included:

• Matt Dabbs, minister and lead equipper for Backyard Church in Auburn, Ala.;

• Glenn Newton, a Florida church planter and director of organizational advancement for Herald of Truth;

• Carl Royster, data compiler for the national directory “Churches of Christ in the United States,” published by 21st Century Christian.
