Voices only: French-speaking Christians join together to sing
Welcome to Voices only.
This weekly online feature highlights the best a cappella videos that come across our eyes — and ears — on the web.
This week we have a couple of French-speaking groups sharing virtual choruses from around the world.
Up first, the Marseille Church of Christ made this video to encourage French-speaking Christians during the pandemic.
Rob Presthus, who shared the video with us, said, “The song is a medley of several well-known songs that talk about the resurrection and victory over the grave.”
Presthus also worked on this next video, bringing more than 80 French voices together to create a virtual chorus.
The song “Il règne” (which translates to Exalted) was written by a member of the Church of Christ.
Do you have a video you would like us to consider for an upcoming Voices-only post? We would love to see it.
Post your a cappella recordings to YouTube and send us the links. Or recommend your favorite videos in the comments section.
