As the South American nation of Venezuela fell into social and economic turmoil, waves of refugees fled to neighboring countries and nations around the world.

Venezuela is home to numerous Iglesias de Cristo (Churches of Christ), and the church members who have left their homeland are breathing new life into the congregations that have taken them in.
